This e-mini futures day trading course is going to ...

Well, it is going to cost a tad more starting this weekend, the first weekend of November, 2013.

I mean KING, a popular e-mini futures day trading course that has been around since late 2008 and is very unlikely to be around beyond 2014. Next year is planned as the last year that I will be selling this course, and the price will go up again.

There are less than 10 copies available at this point, but I may decide to offer another 10 next year for the right price. Perhaps as high as $1,800, which is not really that high compared to other trading courses on the market, some of which cost as much as $6,000, yet can boast of zero evidence that anyone has ever made any money using their ideas.

I am not making this up. Sometimes the only value of a trading course is its high price that convinces the buyer that there is something to it and the buyer keeps clinging to this conviction because what else can he do? Admit that he was a fool? Most people, I am afraid, will rather come up with some rationalization that the product they paid so much for is really much better than it seems to be than admit to have been conned. Marketers know this and they use it to their advantage.

The most common such rationalization is that they have learned a lot from it. Well, but how do you know that what you have learned works? If there was no evidence for that when you were buying it, what really is the value of your acquired knowledge?

That's not so with KING.

KING stands out from the crowd of similar products because of this tremendous volume of evidence that its ideas are sound and can make you money.

Five years of trading results alone trump virtually all what other vendors can offer in this regard, but that's hardly everything. You also have comprehensive results from Katherine, its first user, and testimonials from many other students. People who apply themselves do see evidence that it works. And that what really matters. You want something else with it? Well, a trading forum will soon be coming. That should help, right?

But it is your own effort that can make the biggest difference, though that is something that many wannabe traders don't want to hear, which may also explain why they opt for higher-priced trading courses - it's almost natural to think that the higher price offers a guarantee of success. At least, of sorts.

Well, not really. It does not. The price should be reasonable, though, and that's why KING's price continues to rise. Too low a price is not reasonable either.

My secret e-mini futures trading code - 22-7-3

No, there are no trading secrets, not even e-mini futures trading secrets, so the title of this article is meant in jest.

But 22-7-3 does mean something and it does have a lot in common with day trading e-mini futures. It is 22 weeks, 7 periods of 2 weeks or longer, including 3 stretches as long as 3 weeks and beyond.

If you still don't get it, check out the last entry in my daily e-mini trading journal. I mean the entry from October 28th, 2013, which would be yesterday.

And here is my last trading Twitter update from that day, which goes beyond what you see on my site. It shows classical e-mini trading with KING: no more than 4 contracts per position. In fact, most positions reached their target with the original 2 contracts, and all could have reached their default target of 5 ticks, but I was a bit cautious in two cases exiting a bit sooner. The market was moving rather slowly, though the last trade was a quickie, that is, a trade that did not take even a full minute to reach its target of 5 YM ticks.

I posted 4 updates on Twitter yesterday, all within a minute or less of completing the last trade, starting after I had made over $200, which is my daily profit target.

"Why you should own this e-mini futures trading system"

That's the title of the newest article in a new section of my site.

The section is meant for articles that highlight the value of one of the best mechanical trading systems for e-mini futures markets (YM and ES, to be precise) that I have ever offered on my site and one that I do believe is still worth having even if I no longer market it as a mechanical trading system per se but as a set of strategies that may use a bit of discretion.

This e-mini futures trading system is George IV that I have mentioned on this blog a number of times, most recently this month and even on two different occasions.

I am convinced that it's a very good system, certainly worth a meager $150 that I charge for it and the reasons for why this system is worth having are explained in this very new article posted on my site. There are as many as 7 of them, certainly a good number in its own right.

140 Twitter followers!

I have reached 140 Twitter followers in the past 24 hours. That's not necessarily a big number, but it does indicate a steady growth in this department.

But not particularly fast, to be honest. About three years ago I reached 100 followers, which means that I was accumulating them much faster during the preceding years, in 2010 and before, that is.

My first tweet was posted on August 26th, 2007. Over 6 years ago. KING was not even in the plans back then, so it feels like a different epoch. I embed it below.

It's a minor milestone, though. And the followers are all real and not fakes bought from some vendor company. I somewhat doubt I will ever reach 200 of them. I am not that big on self-promotion. All I do when it comes to marketing is organic, and that means slower, but I like it that way. You can call me old-fashioned, but this will not change my ways.

Emini trading systems and ...

And Google.

It's nice to see that Google has finally returned to its senses and is doing a good job with its search algorithm again.

I may be biased (hell, of course, I am), but for a longer while my site was quite "undervalued" by Google, languishing for months on the second page of its rankings for keywords relevant to my e-mini futures trading business.

But recently things have improved and I am back to page one for "emini trading systems" (currently at spot number 3), "emini trading course" and "emini day trading course" (currently on position number 8) and even near the top of page two for "emini trading results" where Google was dropping a ball quite badly for many months. That was not so with Bing or Yahoo! Search that have been giving me the top spots for this keyword for many months in a row now.

Unlike in the case of many of my competitors, my rankings are due to purely organic work. No one works for me to get me to these spots, while I know for a fact that the competition uses the SEO services to get to the top spots.

For more about my e-mini trading systems and a very good e-mini day trading course, please check out my site, again a prime destination for e-mini futures traders and now even Google agrees with it. Not the very first time and hopefully not the last one either.

Another solid signal by George IV - an e-mini day trading system

I am talking about a long signal from yesterday that almost resulted in a 60 tick profit in YM, the Dow Jones e-mini futures market. Alas, the market stopped just a few ticks shy of this target and then reversed its advance closing only 15 ticks in profit. See the image below for how this played out on the 5-minute chart.

Still not too shabby, but not as good as 60 ticks.

It was a clear and solid signal, one of those signals that scream at you from the chart, so they are very easy to notice. Not long ago, just several days back I mentioned another long signal like that and that one delivered quite a punch indeed.

George IV is a mechanical trading system for YM and ES, two popular e-mini futures markets, at this point marketed as a strategy or a set of such. I have been thinking of reviving it as a fully mechanical system and I believe that's not that hard to do by limiting it to one strategy, the one that is likely to produce solid, clear signals. I may do this eventually, but at this point I don't have time for that.

For more about this relatively simple e-mini futures trading system check out its pages on my site.

21-7 or yet another look at my e-mini trading results this year

I am talking about the results due to KING, an e-mini futures day trading methodology (or an e-mini day trading course) since January 1st, 2013. Meaning, year-to-date.

Translated, that means 21 full weeks of trading results posted in the current trading results section of my site and 7 periods of continuous trading for 2 weeks or even longer. That and some single days add to nearly 130 daily trading reports posted in the section in question.

This year is not over yet, so you will still see some more reports like that on my site, though probably not as often as so far. I need to finish my forum project and that is my main and only priority at this point.

For more about my 20th full week of e-mini trading results see a recent article on my site.

My last Twitter update from today's trading session is embedded below. The market was pretty congested, the daily session range was only about 50 ticks, well below what you normally see.

Versatile e-mini futures day trading methodology

That can be quite a mouthful, but that's what it is in a nutshell.

In fact, one can easily drop the "e-mini futures" part from it and that would still hold true for KING is a truly versatile day trading methodology that should work fine for stocks, Forex, or bonds as well.

It was originally designed for YM, the Dow Jones $5 e-mini futures market, and I think it's perfect for it, but any other reasonably volatile market that you can day trade can be day traded using KING trading ideas and strategies.

I wrote a brief article about this versatile nature of KING as a day trading methodology that was just posted on my site. I show some evidence for it coming from different people as well as different markets, though all are futures of some kind.

More e-mini futures trading results posted on Twitter

Eight screenshots yesterday, six today (as of this point, see the last update right below).

This has been the pattern for a few months now, starting in late May, 2013. It may continue for a while, but will probably end next year, so enjoy the updates while they last.

The screenshots I post on Twitter show trading results in my favorite e-mini futures market, the Dow Jones e-mini futures, also known as YM, which is its ticker symbol. I use Bracket Trader as my trading platform.

And that's yet another Twitter update, the last one today and the 10th in a row, also featuring a quickie as the last trade, even faster than the previous one, only 7 seconds in duration.

Is your trading teacher that good too? Or just loves to teach?

The 20th full week of e-mini futures trading results

And that's only this year.

I updated the current trading results section of my site not long ago, the results being due to KING, an e-mini futures trading course based on a very effective day trading methodology.

Well, at least, effective for me. And a  bunch of other people, some doing well enough to have considered doing it full time.

The updates to what I posted on my site can be found on Twitter. The most recent post there, as of this writing, is embedded below. That can also be the last trading update posted there today.

There are still several copies of KING available. Not too many, though.

525 daily e-mini futures trading reports

And that's quite a number, even bigger than 500 that I have mentioned on this blog a few months back when the 500th e-mini trading report reflecting the results of my day trading with KING was posted on my e-mini futures site.

Well, here is a challenge for anyone reading this. Find me another vendor who has delivered that many reports (or at least 500) over the last 5 years and you will get KING for only $600, which is the half of its current price. While not the highest price ever, it's pretty close and bound to rise in the next few weeks.

Yes, I mean it. Also as a way to open your eyes to how few vendors out there actually believe in providing solid evidence that their trading ideas work. Apparently, they have better ways to convince their potential customers, which may mean that I am too stupid to figure them out. Or maybe I have figured them out and I am not impressed.

You know, those thousands of fake Twitter followers are really not my cup of tea, and neither is badmouthing my competitors on trading forums because if you have to do so that really says more about you than your competitor and let's just leave it at that.

Yes, it's the results, stupid! That's the first thing you want to see. No results, nothing to see here, and you move on. Simple as that.

So how about this little challenge? It's open until I close it a few weeks down the road.

George IV delivers quite a punch - how about 100 YM points?

Well, and even more than that, closer to 120 points, actually. But since the standard target for this neat emini futures trading system currently being sold as a mere strategy is 60 points, I will really not count more than that.

So, it's 60, which translates into $300 with just one YM contract before commissions (not more than $5 per contract round turn with most respectable e-mini futures brokers out there). And that's twice as much as the current price of George IV.

YM, for those totally new to trading e-mini futures, is the ticker for the Dow Jones e-mini contract.

As I said, I no longer market it as a trading system being too busy with KING, among other reasons, but from time to time I check it out. It's not a complex system, but at times you need to pay attention to details. On the other hand, there are also times when you don't have to because the signal is crystal clear and it basically screams at you from your chart. Such signals are the best and today brought us one of those.

While KING is no longer offered as a mechanical trading system, it can still be useful for giving you the right daily bias (long or short) and because of that it can help you with your day trading quite a bit. It is for this reason that I recommend it with KING, and from what I have heard from KING clients it proves to be useful.

Here is a picture showing this feat in action, as it happened today. The chart is courtesy of Sierra Chart, my charting platform of choice and one I have been suing for 10 years and counting. But NinjaTrader or any other charting software is fine too as the indicators the system uses are very basic and should come standard with many charting packages out there.

10 e-mini futures trades - 5 quickies

I just can't stop blabbing about quickies, so that's just yet another post about them here. A previous one was only about 2 weeks ago. I am seriously obsessed.

And when I talk about quickies, I mean very fast e-mini futures trades in YM, the Dow Jones e-mini futures market, my favorite one to day trade.

And not some other thing ...

As you can see from the embedded screenshot of my today's exploits posted on Twitter, I got 5 of them today. Out of 10 trades. Pretty good, though, still not even close to my record, mentioned somewhere on my site, which is 10 out of 10.

No kidding. But I never repeated it, so this might have been a fluke, but good days with KING are hardly what you would call a fluke. On a good volatile day, you can expect a few of those beauties. And today is just another case in point.

So, yes, get yourself KING. This guy delivers!

The 19th full week of e-mini trading results with KING

Just completed as you can see in this year's e-mini trading reports section. I may go for 20 full weeks this year, which would be 4 more than last year, but that's it.

This week I also traded using only 1-2 e-mini contracts on 3 different occasions, just to show that it is still possible to do well with KING with such a very limited number of contracts, but I am too used to using a more liberal size to continue this experiment forever. That's not the best use of my trading power.

Here is a screenshot (the last posted on Twitter today) with results that finish this full week.

Another lucky 13 in the Dow e-mini futures

I was talking about my lucky numbers on this blog in a recent past. I mentioned that even 13 was my lucky number.

Well, so that you don't think that I was merely talking (and talk is cheap as everybody who wasn't born yesterday knows only too well), here is some evidence to back it up from today's trading session. I traded for about an hour taking 10 trades, then took a break, and following that another 3 trades.

All of those have been winners and none required more than 4 contracts. Nice trading with KING, an e-mini futures day trading methodology that you can still purchase on my site. Also known as an e-mini trading course.

Incidentally, the 11th trade (that I exited with 2 ticks of profit only, per contract) could have been even a 40-pointer and I intended it as such. Unfortunately, it was taking too long. But had I waited long enough it would have hit the 40-tick target eventually before the session close.

Trading with KING is mostly about scalping for 5-10 ticks in the Dow Jones e-mini futures, my favorite day trading market, so don't be surprised that I very rarely go for much bigger targets, but that's possible too given enough time or patience.  Not so long ago, I mentioned a 20-pointer on this blog, so I am not just talking. There is evidence for that too.
